Dr. Kevin Stone is an orthopedic surgeon, the founder of The Stone Clinic and an avid windsurfer.
I was fortunate to be educated at Harvard College and then go on to medical school at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and then complete an internal medicine internship at Harvard's Beth Israel Hospital followed by general surgery at Stanford and again orthopedic surgery back at Harvard. I then went on to New York's Hospital for Special Surgery and then Lake Tahoe for a clinical knee fellowship.
I then opened The Stone Clinic in San Francisco where I've practiced for the last 20 years.
I've been fortunate to be a physician for the U.S. Ski Team for over a decade, a physician for multiple ballet companies, the U.S. Pro Golf Tour, the U.S. Olympic Festival and athletes of all ages--from the young to the old, people with joint injuries and people with arthritis.
Over the years I've been most proud of being able to contribute to each and every patient and help them individually return to being active.
And I've been especially proud of being able to help not just the individual patients, but the millions of people that we've been able to influence by developing glucosamine in Joint Juice® products.
It's a pleasure to help keep people active and permit them to do the things that they love.
The Stone Research Foundation in San Francisco pioneers research, development, and education to prevent, treat, and reverse arthritis and joint injuries with the ultimate goal of keeping people active. We are developing breakthrough biologic joint reconstruction techniques to replace the entire articular cartilage surface and repair even the most severely arthritic knees.
